HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

WHO PAYS FOR SHIPPING?

We ship UPS ground for minimal costs to the customer.

WHAT IS YOUR ORDER MINIMUM?

Our minimum invoice requirement is $100 and 8/lbs of flavor.

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME IN PRODUCTION?

During our busy holiday season, our normal 4-7 days manufacturing time can change to about 10-15 days.

IF I PAY A FEE, CAN I GET MY ORDER EXPEDITED?

All of our customers are important to us.  We handle our orders as they are put into our manufacturing schedule.  Many of our more popular flavors are available for quick shipping.  Expedited shipping is always an option.

 

WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM?

Our manufacturing and R&D labs are located in South Plainfield, New Jersey.

 

WHAT SIZE PACKAGING DO YOU OFFER?

We offer a variety of packaging.  Dry flavors are packed in 50/lb poly-lined boxes as well as drums for larger quantities.  Our liquid flavors are packaged in 2/lb, 8/lb, 25/lb, 40/lb, 120/lb, 200/lb and 440 drum sizes.

 

WHAT ARE YOUR MOST POPULAR FLAVORS FOR COFFEE/TEA?

The most popular flavors in the United States are Hazelnut, French Vanilla, Caramel, and Chocolate varieties.

 

DO YOU HAVE SPECIAL HOLIDAY FLAVOR OFFERINGS? 

We have a library of fun options for the holiday seasons.  We add to our festive listing every year.

 

CAN I SAMPLE A FLAVOR? WHAT IS THE COST?

We offer 1 ounce samples to our customers at no cost.

 

WHAT IS THE USAGE FOR COFFEE/TEA?

Coffee flavoring is applied at 3% by weight application.  It can be applied to the whole bean or onto the ground coffee.  The dosage for black tea is also 3% by weight.  However, green tea and herbals vary using between 4% - 7% by weight.

 

WHAT DOES N/A AND OC MEAN?

(N/A) Natural/Artificial Blend, (OC) Organic Compliant.

 

ARE YOU ORGANIC CERTIFIED?

Yes we are.  We offer a library of organic flavors certified by Oregon Tilth Certified Organic (OTCO).

 

ARE YOU HALAL CERTIFIED?

No

 

ARE YOUR FLAVORS KOSHER?

Yes, our Rabbinical service is OK Kosher Certification

 

HOW DO I KNOW IF ALLERGENS ARE IN FLAVORS I PURCHASE?

The label on our product will always indicate an allergen if the flavor contains one.  The supporting SDS paperwork will also include this information.

 

DO YOU ADD SUGAR TO THE BEVERAGE FLAVORS?

No added sugars

 

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR FLAVORS?

Shelf life varies depending on the flavor. Most flavors typically are fresh for 9-12 months when stored properly.

 

DO I NEED TO KEEP THE SDS SHEETS?

Yes.  SDS sheets should be filed in a place where all your employees are aware they can obtain them.   They are sent with every sample and order from FDI.  You only need to keep one copy and should refresh it annually.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF I GET FLAVOR IN MY EYE? ON MY SKIN?

Reference the SDS sheet for information on safe handling.

 

SHOULD I BE CONCERNED ABOUT THE CARCINOGEN WARNING?

We make every effort to avoid using ingredients that cause this warning on the label.  If you still see a warning you are concerned with, ask your salesperson if the flavor has been reformulated to remove it.

 

IF MY ORDER IS RECEIVED DAMAGED, WHAT DO I DO?

Do not discard the flavor or the packaging.  Notify the shipper and our customer service department as soon as possible so we can assist you with the claim and a new order.

 

IF I RECEIVE THE WRONG PRODUCT, WHAT DO I DO?

Please EMAIL our customer service team right away and we will assist you.

 

HOW DO I DISPOSE OF OLD PRODUCT?

Refer to the SDS Sheets.  Most products can be diluted with water and poured down the sink.

 

WHAT DOES HAZMAT MEAN? WHAT ARE THE COSTS? 

Hazmat is regulated by the Department of transportation for ground shipments and IATA for air.  The flashpoint of a liquid determines its packaging requirements for shipping.  Our customer service professionals will advise on the costs of special packaging for your specific shipment.

 

HOW IS THE 2 LB. FLAVOR LIST DETERMINED? 

We offer our customers smaller containers of the popular flavors that we make large quantities on a regular basis.

WHAT ARE OUR PAYMENT OPTIONS?

We will be happy to send you a credit application to set your company up on our Net 30-day terms.  Or you can use a Mastercard, Visa or Discover Card. 

 

IS THERE A FEE FOR PAYING BY CREDIT CARD?

Yes.  2%

 

IS THERE A FEE PAYING VIA PAYPAL?

Yes, the fee is a percentage of your total order, 4.3% is the current rate.

 

IS THERE A FEE PAYING VIA WIRE TRANSFER?

Currently $30.00

 

CAN WE / HOW DO WE APPLY FOR TERMS?

OUR CUSTOMER CHANGED THEIR DEMAND AND WE NO LONGER NEED THIS FLAVOR. CAN WE RETURN IT FOR CREDIT?

Unfortunately, once a flavor has been opened it cannot be returned.
